Inbound Marketing

Inbound Marketing is the concept of marketing that are generated by the various ways that customers interact with your company. This requires you to know how your customers want to interact with your company and then boosting those actions. The goal is to attract visitors who are interested in your products, services, and offers.

You do this by using many different elements including:

Blogging – This is a great way to reach new customers and also familiarize your customers with your products or services. You can even use video blogging as well as podcasts (podcasting). Both of those tools allow you to show instead of tell which makes it easier for the user to understand the value of your products or services.

Videos – Videos are great for this too because they are visual tools that can be used to show customers how your product works, etc.

Social Media – Sites like LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Yelp and more are great ways of reaching untapped markets using social media marketing techniques. These allow you to reach even larger markets with low competition.

Email Marketing – This is one of the oldest forms that marketers use to connect with their customers. You can also automate this process too if you decide to use campaigns like MailChimp or Constant Contact. This allows you to send out emails when new posts are written on your blog, etc.

The benefits of Inbound Marketing in SEO are that it is a much more higher quality form of attracting visitors to your site. It allows you to build long-term customer value which will ultimately lead to repeat sales and also referrals. The reason why this works better than any other form of marketing is because the customers are looking for what you have to offer instead of you looking for them.

The popularity of Inbound Marketing is on the rise and it is predicted to continue in that direction for years to come. This will create more competition because not everyone will be using this form of marketing, but it can produce longer lasting results when done correctly.

A local business, for example, will typically need to rely on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) due to the nature of their business. In our case we would target search terms such as NYC SEO to attract local potential new SEO clients.

On the other hand, a national or international company might instead focus on optimizing for keyword phrases such as “Digital Marketing Company” and yield higher organic search results.

When it comes to internet marketing there are different forms of marketing that will fit just about every business type. This is what made Inbound Marketing so popular because it can be applied to many different business types and it also builds a customer base that continues to grow.
